I personally like this book as it gives you the chords, melody, and some suggested guitar chording. So, if you're an experienced or even middle ground jazz guitarist, you could have many of these up and running fairly quickly. If you're experienced, then adding substitutions and other things should be easy peasy. If you're just learning jazz solo playing, then this is not overwhelming at all. Should be easy enough to put a tune or two together without consulting your teacher or jazz guitar friends.
